Enjoying My Experience At Work

For quite some time, I really enjoyed my job. However, after working at the same place for a little more than two years, things really started to change. I was having a difficult time looking on the bright side of things, and I really wanted to have something to look forward to. I started thinking about how to transform my work experience, and I decided to talk with my employer about going back to school. I learned that I could apply for tuition reimbursement, and then I started working towards a better job. When I finished, I was actually offered a great position at my current workplace, and I love it. Read great tips about business here.

Ready For Handwoven Hair Braids? 4 Tips For The Proper Care

If you want the beauty and ease of braids but don't have enough hair, it's time to choose extensions. Handwoven braided extensions give you the length you want, without the time that goes into growing your own hair. Best of all, you can change your style as often as you'd like. If you've decided to style your hair with handwoven braided hair extensions, you'll want to ensure proper care. Here are some tips you can follow for the care of your hair, scalp, and braided extensions.

Don't Leave Them in too Long

If you're going to get braided extensions woven into your hair, you might think that you can keep them in for an extended period of time. But, that's not necessarily the case. Handwoven braids are safe for all hair types, but they do need to be removed from time to time. That's because your natural hair can tangle and mat if the extensions are left in for too long. Not only that, but your scalp can miss out on the natural oils it needs for maximum health. To prevent damage, you should have your braids removed at least once a month—six weeks at the most.

Choose Loose Braids

If you've decided to lengthen your hair with handwoven braids, don't go too tight. You might have seen braids that are tightly attached to the scalp. While they may provide cleaner lines, they can cause damage to your hair and to your scalp. In fact, if the braided extensions are too tight, they can lead to hair loss. The best way to avoid hair loss and scalp damage is to choose looser braids.

Wash With Care

If you're ready for braided hair extensions, be sure to provide proper maintenance. Part of that maintenance includes washing with care. To wash your handwoven braids, you should start by separating your braids into individual sections. Once you have the braids evenly divided, you'll want to apply shampoo, one section at a time. Massage shampoo into the scalp, and then distribute the suds throughout the braids. Rinse well, and then gently squeeze the remaining water from the braids.

Moisturize

Finally, if you've decided on braided, handwoven extensions, you'll want to provide plenty of moisturizer, especially to your scalp. Proper moisturizing will help to keep your scalp, and natural hair, healthy. The best way to moisturize is to use a spray leave-in moisturizer. The spray moisturizer will allow the nutrients to soak down to your scalp and to your natural hair.
